Power struggle more erupts with in EPRDF inner circle

Awramba Times (Washington DC) – Awramba Times has initially reported about the power struggle with in the ruling EPRDF inner circle, between Bereket Simon’s faction and TPLF’s old guard. According to our confidential sources in Addis Ababa, this rift has recently erupted and Hailemariam’s swearing-in ceremony as a prime minister has been postponed. While announcing the premier’s death, Bereket Simon told journalists that the ministerial cabinet has endorsed Hailemariam Desalegn, as acting prime minister of the nation.
Meanwhile, Tigrean People Liberation Front (TPLF), in its statement issued by Tigrigna language today warns those who are conspiring “to alleviate the visions of the great leader”. There is no doubt that the interpretation of the warning was not to the ruling party’s opponents.
