Boycotting Neway Debebe & The Overwhelming Response

As the struggle gets bitter and longer, some from our ranks gave up and returned to solitary and selfish existence. They chose to live a life without purpose and meaning. But a few have decided to sell their souls and are now bowing to Monster Zenawi and his killer gangs. They have sold our country and the blood of martyrs for 30 pieces of silver just like their cousin Judas (yihuda) did to Jesus, the prince of peace. And two of them in recent memory are Solomon Tekalign and Neway Debebe. I don’t know how these two hodams deal with their conscious that is accusing them every day they go to bed at night.

ADDIS ABABA, 25 Muharram/21 Dec (IINA)-An exiled Muslim organisation, Badar Ethiopia, has called on Ethiopian authorities to immediately release jailed Muslim journalists who published a local magazine on the affairs of country’s Muslims.

Ethiopian journalists are continuously forced to flee the country, as the government labels those critical of it as messengers of terrorism, usually a precursor to arrest, detention or even death.

Dawit Kabede, an award winning journalist, is the latest to flee after receiving a tip off of his imminent arrest.  

”I had less than four days to leave the country, to save my life or avoid imprisonment,” said Kebede who received an award a year ago for his work from the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).

 በሙዚቃ አድማጮች ዘንድ ከፍተኛ ተቀባይነት እያገኘ የመጣውን አቤል ሙሉጌታ ዘፈኑን ካደመጡት በኋላ ቃለ ምልልሱን ያንብቡት። ጥያቄ፡- ‹‹ተገርሜ›› አልበም እያስገረመ ነው? እውነት ሐሰት? አቤል፡- /ሳቅ/ እውነት፡፡ ከማየው ከምሰማው ከሚደርሱኝ አስተያየቶች በመነሳት አድማጩ ላይ ጥሩ ነገር ስላለ አዎ ተገርሜ እያስገረመ ነውና እውነት ነው እላለሁ፡፡ ጥያቄ፡- የሰው አፈጣጠሩ የገረመህ ይመስላል? አቤል፡- ያው ከፍጥረታት ሁሉ የበላይ በመሆኑ ይህንን፣ በመረዳት ነው የሰራሁት፡፡ አልበሙም ላይ እንደሚለው ከፍጥረት ሁሉ የበላይ የሆነውን ሰው ያለውን የበላይነት በመረዳት የተጻፈ ነው፡፡ ምክንያቱም ውበት ያን ያክል ያማረ ቢሆን የፀሐይ የጨረቃን ውበት ብትረዳ እንኳን ሰው የሌለበት ነገር ባዶ ነው የሚሆነው፡፡ እና ሰው ለሁሉም ነገር ውበት ነውና ከተፈጥሮ ሁሉ የበላይ የመሆኑ ነገር ስለገባኝ ነው ተገርሜን የሰራሁት፡፡ ጥያቄ፡- አልበሙ እያደር እንደሚጣፍጠው ወይን ሆነ ልበል? አሁን አሁን ብዙ ቦታ ይሰማል? አቤል፡- በጣም /ሳቅ/ አሁን አሁን እየተሰማ ነው፡፡
